You can easily choose from a physically active trip or a relaxed getaway with the quietness of the surrounding woods in order to escape from the hustle and bustle and modern technology of our everyday life. You are going to spend your free time in an environment which is ideal for engaging in all kinds of sports. Whether you enjoy running, horse riding, cycling or cross-country skiing, here you can indulge in your chosen activity year-round. 

 

Mushroom pickers will be pleasantly surprised because it takes only a few steps to find fresh, wild fungi for your soups or sauces during their seasons. Because of the historical “Iron Curtain”, which lasted until 1989, much of the nature area is still uninhabited and protected from mankind nowadays. In addition, there are several beautiful lakes nearby. The closest one is the German “Perlsee”, which can be reached by bike through the frontier area of “Lučina”/”Grafenried”.

Especially this area is ideal for cycling due to the street quality in Bavaria. The local drivers look after the cyclists and drive responsibly. Thus, it is perfectly safe to be on the road with your bike.
